Fellow Band Boosters,
Sunday's VOF parade report times are as listed:
Drumline - 10:00 am (your student will know if this applies to them)
Rest of Band - 11:30 am
All should eat a good breakfast or brunch as band will not be dismissed until after parade, probably after 3:15. Drumline might wish to bring a snack.
Any parents marching should try to be @ McCluer North around 11:15 to help pass out 'warm weather' uniforms and generally assist with any issues. We have 4 parents lined up to march so we could use a few more. The trailing vehicles w/drivers have been accounted for.
Buses leave for parade start point (Atonement Lutheran Church) @ 12:30. Parents marching will need to organize rides to staging point(might all fit in trailing vehicles). Parade starts @ 2:00, gets to band staging area around 2:15 or so. We are unit #4 so should get off into parade soon after. Boosters will provide a water @ staging area as well as carry bottles during route as needed.
Buses will be waiting for students behind Dierberg's for trip back to school. Parents marching will hopefully again fit in trail vehicles.
Students will be dismissed as soon as instruments & uniforms have been squared away.
